Leslea Bennett-Webb is the Director of Communications at the Oklahoma State Department of Health, a post she has held for the past eight years. She is responsible for internal and external agency communications focusing on three key areas: media relations, including news and public relations; electronic communications, including the agency's Internet and distance learning services; and graphic design and publications.

Bennett-Webb has worked in Oklahoma state government for 31 years, 30 of those with the state health department in a variety of positions. She is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a B.A. in Radio-TV Journalism, and an M.P.H. in Public Health - Human Ecology. She has been a member of NPHIC since 1999.
